The Rosary

Everything that we are
Everything that we were

There are roses in the bramble
The dabs of color fade

Yet another day
For us to fall away
And I am dreaming of a place
Where I can see your face

Chains restrain
Never take the chance
Wire cuts at my legs
May I have this dance?

Ordinary
Extraordinary
Live the life of a bird
Under the shell of absurd

Wings haven’t got the right
To sing to you at night
And so I stay
Before we all fade

Everything that we are
Everything that we were

Lines across my face
In this other place
Not home I’m afraid
I am not there, no

I’m dreaming of satin
I’m dreaming of lace
I know it all to well
This other place

And the scars upon our face
Inclined, the egret might say
There is no grace

This is more of a test blog than anything, but while I’m running the test I might as well let you know what is coming down the pipeline for myself.

DreamStateOnline is going to be a business that repairs computers, does graphic design, and even a bit of programming. The website (see the test site in progress here) will be able to track repair progress and allow users to submit for service requests all in one place.

Now if I could just find the serenity not to blow internet explorer off the map, I’ll set myself a bit of time to program around it. Why can’t it follow the web standards like everyone else?

Anyways, back to the test. If everything worked out properly in the code, this blog should be sent out as a link in status updates for myspace, twitter, and facebook.

Ah, the fun of Internet Explorer

Finally managed to get the z-indexes working properly with older versions of explorer for the DreamStateOnline testing site. Next up is a side order of page content.

Why does microsoft have to be so difficult in adapting standards with their products? The world may never know. At least their newer versions are more developer friendly!

So I’ve been fairly busy as of late. I have been furiously programming http://dreamstateonline.com/v2 in preparation of future business operations. Here’s to late nights and early mornings!
